A rustic riding centre in the woods, with residential sessions for junior riders (summer, winter, March Break ), coaching, training and boarding. Our 2003 participants won several Dressage Championships, and also participated in showjumping, eventing, Prince Phillip Games, and hunter pace.
We believe in giving riders a taste of everything to sharpen their skills before they decide to specialize. We are primarily a dressage facility. In 2004 we will have three divisions of riders: (1) FEI Junior, Pony and Young Rider; (2) Pony Club and CADORA, and (3) General. First year riders will compete at the general level. Intermediate level riders who belong to Pony Club will attend Pony Club shows, and the non pony club riders will compete at CADORA and other non-Pony Club shows. Lovely facility just minutes from Erin, Acton, Rockwood, Guelph, Georgetown...and easily commutable from Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto etc. This is just 5 minutes from our current location and boasts a very bright 60x120 indoor arena with a heated viewing lounge, 210x240 sand ring, huge stalls from 11x11 to 14x12, as well as 3 large pony stalls, wonderful ventilation, huge paddocks with board fencing, hacking on and off site, and the wonderful care we have been known for! Our stalls are deeply bedded with shavings, mucked once and picked out at night, free choice hay indoors and out with grass in summer, grain 2x per day (more if needed), macintosh vitamin/mineral supplement and ground flax seed in pm grain, all day turnout in small compatible groups, boots/blankets on/off. Coaching with Sue Stricker, over 25 years in the industry in hunter/jumper and lower level dressage, and we have dressage lessons once per week with grand prix level dressage instructor Jan Chuchman.
